Tsirku River Exploratory

3 day Upper Tsirku Fly & Raft Trip. The rugged beauty of the Tsirku River reveals a stunning landscape of wildlife, plant succession and change. The Tsirku is alive with wild salmon, bears, moose and a host of animals that call this ecosystem home. Flanked by Glacier Bay National Park to the west and the largest protected land area on earth to the north, the Tsirku River is an off-the-beaten-path destination that few are lucky to experience.

The trip starts with a bush plane flight over glaciers, crevasses and expansive wilderness before descending onto a valley landing strip along the Tsirku River. The days include hiking, rafting, and camp setup & teardown. Some rapids exist and the water is cold, participants should be in good physical condition. Previous rafting experience is not required.

Prices include a professional guide, river boots, rain gear, lifejackets, hearty meals and necessary camping equipment.
